[Geoserver-users] ORACLE doesnt recogize GEOMETRY column

Dear Community,

I am using an oracle spatial DB Version 10.2.0.3.0 and GeoServer 1.6.0-RC1.
I am able to connect to the oracle database and also to load the schema of
the tables. The problem is that the GeoServer doesnt recognize the type of
GEOMETRY Column (please look at the screen shot).

The GEOMETRY COLUMN has a type MDSYS.SDO_GEOMETRY in oracle spatial and was
inserted from a shape file.

Hi,

Have you created a corresponding metadata entry as described in Geoserver documents for Oracle (which seem to be unavailable at the very moment)?
