Hi,

2015-03-25 12:26:27,465 ERROR [storage.DefaultStorageFinder] - Found System environment variable GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR set to C:\Program Files (x86)\GeoServer 2.5.2\data_dir , but this path does not exist

I think that very first you must correct this. Saving new settings to non-existing data_dir likely fails.

Hello,

In geoserver 2.5.2 I have an oracle datastore. I can see alle tables of the specified schema. When I try to add a new oracle layer (by clicking ‘publish’) and save the layer in the layer properties screen, nothing happens. Layer is not added, no error. What can be the problem?

Did you check the GeoServer log?

Any clue for the issue?
