[Geoserver-users] org.geotools.data.DataSourceException

Hi,

I’m trying to deploy the geoserver-1.3.1a-war but I’m getting a DataSourceException?

org.geotools.data.DataSourceException: Connection failed:org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: The class class org.postgis.PGbox3d does not implement org.postgresql.util.PGobject.

Sounds like maybe something wrong with the version of the postgresql jdbc driver? Maybe an extra on your classpath? Does this happen every time you try postgis, or just some times?

Hi,

  After reinstalling the .war from scratch, geoserver works fine.

I may have had some incorrect files in my GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR since I was
trying to copy config from another existing setup.
