Does anyone know if it is possible to add a layer from GeoServer on top of a map displayed by Microsoft Virtual Earth? I know I can overlay features from a GeoRSS feed, but for road segments this creates a very large feed (in some cases over 10 MB!). I would like to have GeoServer generate a semi-transparent tile that could be overlaid onto of the map from Virtual Earth. Has anyone done this? Does anyone know if this can be done?

Ha ha, no OT at all. A user provided some patch to support virtual
earth on the raster side of the fence here:

I still haven't tried to integrate it thought.
