I think this is a general open JDK bug, if you check Jira you can see the workaround of setting a rotation of 1 degree.

This bug is not specific to Open JDK , I tested with IBM JDK and Oracle JDK. I think all JDKs use the rendering code provided by Oracle. The problem is in the rendering component of Java 7.
The workarounds may work, in my case they did not.

I’ve just committed a fix (well, more of a workaround for the JDK faulty behavior)
and kicked the nightly builds for 2.6.x and master. Can the reporters check the issue is gone?

Hum, turns out the pushes to github did not work, I’ve done them again
and kicked the builds again, it will be a couple of hours before the
new nightlies are ready

This bug is not specific to Open JDK , I tested with IBM JDK and Oracle JDK. I think all JDKs use the rendering code provided by Oracle. The problem is in the rendering component of Java 7.
The workarounds may work, in my case they did not.

I think this is a general open JDK bug, if you check Jira you can see the workaround of setting a rotation of 1 degree.
