Hello all.
I’m having problems when trying to create a WMS datastore in GeoServer 2.8.2 with TomCat 8.0.3.2 as a Windows service, to connect to an external WMS. I Access to the Internet through the proxy server of my company. When I try to create the connection, I receive the message:
Connection timed out: connect
I’ve tried with different WMS URLS. I’ve too tried to put the proxy’s URL in Settings/Global/proxy URL, and in JVM Apache TomCat properties (C:\Tomcat8032\bin\Tomcat8w.exe):
-Dhttp.proxySet=true
-Dhttp.proxyHost=http://xxx.xx.xx.xxx
-Dhttp.proxyPort=8080
-Dhttp.proxyUser=yyyyyy
-Dhttp.proxyPassword=zzzzzzz
But it still doesn’t work. Any suggestion?
