[Geoserver-users] problem creating feature

Hi,

I have a question about the exception "problem creating feature". Do you have a hint what might be wrong?

I'm trying to do a wfs-t insert, it works for points, but fails for lines and polygons. I'm using GeoServer 1.3.1

Is there a problem with my database?

Please provide us with a stack trace from the Geoserver logs.
I would also suggest to update to at least Geoserver 1.4.1
1.3.x series is old, and no more maintained.

Oh, the output of a DescribeFeatureType for that feature type and the Transaction request that fails would be very useful too.

Thanks; going through the logs I found out I had the wrong geometry type in my database (polygon and not multipolygon).
