[Geoserver-users] Problem Starting the GeoServer 2.2.4 service

Sir,

I am trying to use GeoServer 2.2.4 for a GIS project but I am not being able to start the GeoServer process that should get started. I am installed GeoServer as a service. When i try to start GeoServer by cicking on “Start GeoServer” it just shows “waiting to start” a few times and then quits. If I try to start it using windows (Windows 7) administrative tools->services, it just shows, cannot start GeoServer.

Please guide me as to how to get it up and working.

You need to include possible stacktrace or startup lines from your J2ee container`s log file.
