[Geoserver-users] Problems with ArcSDE

Dear jpickeri

I installed this morning GeoServer1.6.5 and the ArcSDE plug-in. All seems to
work. For the ArcSDE plugin I simply copied the following 4 JARs from the
ArcSDE clinent into the "lib" directory:
   jsde92_sdk.jar
   jsde92_sdkres.jar
   jpe92_sdk.jar
   icu4j_3_2.jar
Also the 3 JARs that came with the ArcSDE plugin download:
   commons-pool-1.3.jar
   gt2-arcsde-2.4.5.jar
   jsqlparser-0.3.14.jar
Then I restarted geoServer, opened the GeoServer Administration and
navigated ->Config->Data->DatStores->New The dropdown now contained the new
"ArcSDE" item.

I have placed : jpe91_sdk.jar and jsde91_sdk.jar into my /WEB-INF/lib
directory along with gt2-arcsde.jar

The ArcSDE datastore does not appear however.

Any tips?
