[Geoserver-users] pyramid images upload failed.

Hello I have generated pyramidal levels through the following script using the GDAL cmd with the following script:

gdal_retile.py -v -r bilinear -s_srs EPSG:32632 -levels 5 -pyramidOnly -ps 1024 1024 -co “TILED=YES” -co “COMPRESS=JPEG” -targetDir pyramid Ortho.tif

Then I have copied the folder on my server, but when I try to upload them with the pyramid plugin the following message shows up:

Could not find file: \GEOSERVERUBUNTU\GeoServer DATA\data\Chiastre\pyramid

Do you any advice?

thanks.

As I mentioned in the past, I would NOT use the ImagePyramid if you
are starting from a single geotiff, even if it is a bigtiff.
I would just add internal overviews.

what do you mean by upload

with the pyramid plugin the following message shows up:

Could not find file: \\GEOSERVERUBUNTU\GeoServer DATA\data\Chiastre\pyramid

If this is a windows server and GeoServer is running as a service you
won't be able to access mapped drives unless
you fiddle with the user's rights.
This has been discussed a few times in past on this mailing list.

Do you any advice?

thanks.
