My mistake is the path where i have put the file smiley…

Now i set the correct path and all work perfectly…

The smileyface.png file should be placed in the styles folder of the Geoserver

data directory, that is, in the same place as the SLD file, in order to work.

Otherwise, you can also use an absolute path to the file, or a reference to a

resource served by an HTTP server (e.g., http://maps.google.com/mapfiles/kml/shapes/airports.png)
