Hi everyone,
I’m trying to recall how to eliminate the driving directions in the KML description balloon generated by Geoserver. I cannot seem to find the parameter that I need to add, despite the fact that I know I had a layer that worked without the driving directions at one time.
Anyone else remember who to apply this, or am I hallucinating about this being possible in the first place?
Thanks,
Roger

There's never been an option to do this in GeoServer. Indeed I have no idea how/why it gets added to the pop-ups. Is there a way to control it from kml? What's the proper tag to get it there/not there? Maybe you had it not there when it was for some country that didn't have driving directions?

Interesting, I’ll have to compare the 2 layers I have a bit more closely tomorrow. In any case, in KML you can control the appearance of the directions by using a tag. See this page, it has some decent info on how to control that behavior: http://ge.images.alaska.edu/workshop/advanced.htm
