[Geoserver-users] Removing layers from WFS

Hi list,
Is there a way to easily remove specific layers from being available via WFS? I want to keep a WFS service running but there are about 10 layers I don’t want to be accessible via it. I can stop them from being advertised (on all services), but strictly speaking they’ll still be available via WFS.
Suggestions?

Thanks,
Jonathan

As far as I know, it can be done with a security system such as GeoFence
(the built-in one is not complete enough)

Cheers

Hmmmm, ok. I guess that I could alternately create a new workspace and stick them all in there; but that’s a big hastle at this point (the layers are already very embedded).

Thanks,
Jonathan
