[Geoserver-users] Replace shp file on the fly

Hi

I need to replace a shp file datastore on a windows server (running tomcat) every x hours.

I have direct access to the filesystem

What is the best/safest way to do this

  • Bat script copy/paste
  • REST services
  • ???

Thanks,
Jerry

With replace you mean update the shapefiles or delete the datastore and create a new one?
