[Geoserver-users] restricting output format types for WMS and WFS

Hi All,

I would like to restrict output format types in geoserver (2.6), WMS and WFS.

I could restrict formats using apache HTTPD, but I was hoping to also not have them listed in the getcapabilities as well.

Has Anyone tried to do this?

Many thanks,

Sincerely,

Michelle

All output formats are pluggable, so there are multiple ways to remove
them... by writing code...

The idea to make them actually configurable from the UI has been on the
table for a long time, but nobody sponsored that
work so far. If you are interested in getting this functionality, here is a
guide for you:

Hi,

You can limit the WMS formats be setting “Allowed MIME types for a GetMap request” that is at the bottom of Services - WMS settings. WFS does not have such configuration. Why do you see it necessary?
