Hi all,
I've just started using geoserver to develop an application that will be
able to store geospatial data. I'm just wondering how could I secure these
services. I've read the documentation and I saw that there's two kind of
authentication (http basic/form based forweb console). My problem is that
the user name and password will be prompt for every single request to
geoserver once the authentication is enabled and this is not what I want
so... As I can see, I just have on option left to create a proxy to handle
all requests, doing the authentication and authorization stuff.
Am I correct or is there any other way (and more straightforward) to do it?
