[Geoserver-users] shorter CRS list in geoserver 1.5?

hi,
i've seen that in the new versions of Geoserver (1.6.3) you can set a
"Limited Capabilities CRS List" in order to avoid a big list of CRS in the
Capabilities. (http://geoserver.org/display/GEOSDOC/WMS+Configuration).

The question is can it be done (manually, not via webinterface suppose)
something similar in previous versions (1.5)?

I fear not: all the code needed to have this work has been committed on 1.6.x only, sorry.
The 1.5.x series is closed too, so there won't be backports
unless someone other than the official dev team does them and makes a
release, or someone sponsors the official dev team to do so.
