[Geoserver-users] SLD Variable Substitution in HeatMap

Hey all,

I have this Heatmap I took from a fab website that shows how to use Heatmap SLD with a point layer. I have it working nicely but I am trying to change the weightAttr column on the fly using parameters

The SLD sheet is:

I’ve highlighted the parameter section in bold and I’m using the following additional text to the url:

&parameter:weightAttr: but it isn’t working (no errors)…have I got the syntax correct? I have created variables for SLD before which have worked which highly suggests I’ve missed something super simple.
