Hi there. Just an FYI, I did some very high level reorganization of the GeoServer docs this week. I haven't touched much in the way of content with this pass, but here are some highlights.
The "Users Guide" of the Navigation pane originally pointed to "User", not "Users Guide". There was a link on "User" for "Users Guide" but "Users Guide" had tutorials (including a "Quickstart") in it, some of which were the same as the tutorials in "Tutorials", which also had references back to the "Users Guide". Note that the "Tutorials" in the Navigation pane did not point to all of the tutorials, just some of them.
This has been made sane.
All tutorials, including the semi-nice ones with the screencasts, are now on the "Tutorials" page, and are no longer split up. There now is no difference between the "User" and "Users Guide" pages, and I'm leaving the "User" page in just so old links won't break. So now, "Users Guide" in both spaces' Navigation panes point to "Users Guide".
I'm writing this because things may be in slightly different places now. I have tried to make sure that no pages are deleted, so old links don't get broken.
There's plenty more to do, but all in time. I encourage everyone to take a look around our documentation and suggest changes, or go ahead and make them! Community involvement is one of the reasons why we have a wiki.
Thanks,
