Is it possible to specify the template to use in a WMS GetFeatureInfo

Hi David,
Not sure exactly what you mean by different calls? You can specify different templates on a per feature type basis... perhaps describe your use case a bit more and we can better direct you.

Sorry for not being clear. What I want is to GetFeatureInfo on a specific layer, however, I want the templated results to be different in different cases. For example, in one case I may want to call GetFeatureInfo and have it return HTML result fit for a popup. Another time I may want to call GetFeatureInfo hand have it return HTML code for a list view. I guess what I am asking is can I include a TEMPLATE= parameter on the GetFeatureInfo call? Thanks, David

Nope, there is no such a thing. The feature info templates are actually
three (header, contents, footer) so we'd have to expose that option
for all of them, or have a way to identify a group of 3 by a single
name.
But feel free to open a improvement request at jira.codeahaus.org
Cheers
