What strategy does GeoServer use for computing the GetCaps layer scale range if a layer has multiple available styles with different scale ranges?
Is it the union (really the “envelope”) of the scale ranges?
Hi Martin,
I did not know the answer so I looked quickly in the code… I ended up in this method,
by the looks of it, it seems all styles are taken into account:
Two minutes check, I cannot guarantee it’s the correct answer, or that it applies to all WMS versions.
