I’m trying to do some tile caching for my layers. Is there a way to determine how much storage it will take? I’d like to cache my layers from zoom 15 up to zoom 20/21.

Some time ago we made a spreadsheet that can be used for this purpose:

The Google spreadsheet linked is read only, but you can create a editable
copy,or save it as excel
and use it offline
