Coverage styling support has greatly improved for 1.7.0; however, this required some changes to the 'catch-all' style for raster data that is included in the GeoServer. You should be able to fix this problem by replacing styles/raster.sld in your datadir with the new one, which you can download from https://svn.codehaus.org/geoserver/tags/1.7.0/configuration/release/styles/raster.sld . Just copy this file into your datadir and either press the 'load' button in GeoServer's admin console, or restart GeoServer.
Hope this helps,

Hi,
I am running into this when updating geoserver :
v 1.6.5 :
(See attached file: geos map 1.6.5.JPG)
same with 1.7.0 :
(See attached file: geos map 1.7.0.JPG)
v 1.6.5 :
(See attached file: geos photo 1.6.5.JPG)
same with 1.7.0 : white page !
The files are TIFF pyramids (photo) and mosaic (map). Of course, they are
the same, the only thing different is geoserver release.
Any hint on how to get the original colours (and everything else) ?
