I've recently fixed http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-1090 and
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOT-1067.
Put together this may make the joy of those of use that use large
area maps, spanning the whole world, and those that handle big
multi-geometries (multipoint, multiline, multipolygon).
I've seen 4x speed increases on a whole world contry map, which
or course if full of multipolygons.
Anyways interested in trying it out and reporting if it works fine?
The updated jar is here:

Just replace the old oracle-spatial-xxxx.jar with this one and test.

We use geotools-2.3.1 and it works fine, it's a very good job.
Our display problems with oracle is resolved yet, thanks a lot.
