Hi,
I need to update 2000 features simultaneously within 30seconds. Would that be possible?
Can I repeat the wfs:Update for each feature within a single request? But I think that would make the request far too long.
Any other good alternatives? My apologies that this is rather urgent, so thanks a lot in advance.
Regards,
Lee Wai See

If you're doing xml post there's no limit to how big a request can be, so you should be fine from that front. The only problem will be how fast geoserver can handle it. I think it might do ok with that - there are some increases that Justin is working on in a branch. But try it out with just a long update, I think that's the way to do it.
