[Geoserver-users] URL External Checks configuration

Hello there,

Is it possible to configure (at least enable/disable) the URL external checks with a REST API ? Or is it only possible through UI or configuration files?

I believe most of the security settings are managed as files that are scanned for changes; and thus can be managed directly on disk by a system administrator; or remotely via the “resource” REST API - which is intended to manage configuration files.

I do not think there is a new REST API endpoint for this functionality.

Thanks Jody for the reply. It is the strategy I have in mind but I have a few things to check out.

Correct me if I am wrong but I will have to ask GeoServer to reload the configuration after creating the resource with the REST API?

Check the docs, many of the security files are scanned, no rest so I reload required.
