Hi, I am novice, and maybe the answer for the next cuestion is very simple but I don’t know this answer.
when we insert a layer in geoserver, where we are capturing the information, there are some fields: caching, time in cache, and max number of objects.
which is the use for these fields??
Thanks

Caching: Should HTTP cache headers be set? These affect whether browsers accessing your server will cache tiles locally.
Time in cache: If so, how long will browsers be instructed to keep tiles in the cache.
Max number of objects: How many features should be returned per request? This can save some bandwidth/processing time for your server by limiting the size of WFS responses.
Hope this helps,
David Winslow
