Hello,
I would like to use the TRANSACTION operation in Geoserver but as a GET, is
that possible?
I also would like to use the TRANSACTION operation in Geoserver but as a
POST but not using XML as payload but JSON, is that possible?
Is there any examples out there?
Could you please point them to me?
Thank you in advance.
Mario.

No, the WFS standard does not have transaction as GET.
In practical terms, assuming someone were to develop this support, it would
work
properly only for updates and deletes that have a chance of generating a
short
enough url

Not supported either, but as far as I remember WFS 2.0 would allow
for JSON payloads to be embedded in the transaction XML, so there would
be a standard way to have it (but it would be a mix of xml and json).
Of course, it's always possible to develop some new support that allows
for a pull JSON POST, it would be a new, out of standard, operation.
Cheers
Andrea
