I am trying to move data over from a live server to a testing server for development, but I am getting a very odd issue as I cannot save any data.
Any field that is of type geometry is coming over as the public.geometry. On the live server, it is just geometry. If I change the privileges of the field to “all” for the group “public”, (takes twice do to it) then it will save. The problem is the data gets removed for the field as it’s a different object type. I have tried to cast the object to a geometry object with an alter statement, but no luck.
I am sure this is something importing/exporting data, but I am not sure what it could be. Any ideas on this would be awesome
