[Geoserver-users] WFS-T and ArcSDE

Hi List,

Geoserver supports WFS-T onto an ArcSDE datastore, right?

Has anyone experimented? Is it buggy or fairly stable? I'd be interested to hear about your experiences...

Cheers,

Brock

Brock,

I use it extensively, and it's pretty good. The actual SDE connection code comes from GeoTools (the 'foundation' of geoserver, if you will) and I've made some big improvements to handling certain types of SDE layer setups in the latest releases of GeoTools, so be sure to use the 1.5.0-beta series if you want the best SDE support.

I'm a pretty active developer on the SDE stuff, so if you have bugs, issues or problems I can generally provide good support.

Give it a shot and let us know how it works out for you.
