hey folks
we recently experience the following geoserver issue while trying to save
objects (point/line) via mapbender:
saving an object needs at least some 20 secconds to save, whereas normally
we would expect about 2, 3 at most.
tracing the geoserver log file we get the following:
2012-11-27 10:55:45,437 WARN [geotools.xml] - Error parsing:
http://www.xxxxxx.de:8080/geoserver/wfs?typename=xxx:xxxxxxx

(I exchanged the actual url with xxxxx)
any ideas what could be the reason for this behaviour?

Hey Oliver,
Ca you provide some more information about the GeoServer data configuration? Basically how may stores / feature types / etc… are currently deployed.
If you have more than 100 feature types you probably want to increase the “feature type cache setting” in GeoServer. THe setting is on global settings page. The ideal setting is to make it larger than the number of total feature types configured in GeoServer.
