[Geoserver-users] XML encoding problem on DescribeFeatureType

Hi list,

using 1.3.4a we have a problem with XML encoding on DescribeFeatureType:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1: ISO Latin 1 - Western Europe"?>

instead of:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>

GetFeature does this okay.

Did anybody else experience this?

Best regards,
Bart

We may have fixed this, see: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-693

It sounds like it could be the same problem. Should be out in the next 1.4.x release. At the moment we're not planning a 1.3.5, but could if need be.
