Piece o' cake, Susan! Try r.what - it does exactly what you want.
Is it possible to basically do "d.what.rast" without having a display?
I want to be able to pass true Northing and Eastings into d.what.rast
or some other program without using the mouse, and get back the
category of a specified raster map.Sue Huse
