Training Course - Geo-spatial Technologies

Set within the environmental context of the North East coastline of Scotland, this 6-day training course will introduce participants to the role of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related geospatial technologies to Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM). Grants will be made to early-stage researchers and experienced researchers in order to support their participation.
To be eligible, candidates should being nationals of a EU country or an Associated State (particularly countries candidates for EU-Membership and EFTA-EEA countries) and belong to a university or research centre (both public and private, including research groups belonging to industry) operating in one of the ECO-IMAGINE working group sectors: Building Coastal Knowledge and GI; Coastal Governance, Planning and Design and GI; Waterfront Management and GI (priority will be given to those applicants working in this specific field); and Technological features of GI (horizontal theme).
