EuroGlobalMap product information:

This digital topographic dataset covers Europe at the scale 1:1 Million.

It is seamless and harmonised data and is produced in cooperation by the National Mapping and Cadastral Agencies of Europe, using official National Databases.

Major strong points

  • Seamless database over Europe
  • 6 themes including total 12 layers
  • Harmonised data specifications syncronized with DIGEST
  • Metadata according ISO19115 standard
  • Official data provided by the National Mapping Agencies
  • Common pricing and licensing policy agreed by EuroGeographics

The database contains the following six themes. Each theme contains one or more data layers:

  • Administrative boundaries
  • Hydrography
  • Transport
  • Settlements
  • Elevation
  • Named location (geographical names)

… estesi a tutto il territorio italiano e con 1cm di coordinate accuracy.
