we invite you to attend the Workshop
"GI training: experience and needs in the new European dimension"
Genova, 2nd - 3rd October 2006
AMGA Congress Centre
organised in the framework of GI-INDEED project (Geo-Information in the
Implementation of Net-based Distance Education for Environmental
Decision-making) www.gisig.it/gi-indeed <http://www.gisig.it/gi-indeed>\.
*GI-INDEED* is a EU training project that aims at improving life-long
learning and continuous training in the field of geo- and environmental
information, to tune data according in particular to the proposed new
INSPIRE Directive.
In such a context, the realisation of modules of pilot training are
foreseen on:
- - environmental web services;
- - data harmonisation and Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI);
- - use of SDI for protected areas;
- - use of SDI for coastal areas
Topics of your interest will be covered during the Workshop related in
particular to the implementation of the *training modules on SDI and
Protected Areas*.
We would like to inform you that the participation in the *Workshop is
free but*, for organisational reasons, the *registration is requested*.
