Sto leggendo un po’ di materiale su GeoDRM e GeoREL, ci sono diversi elementi su cui, chi si interessa di dati pubblici, dovrebbe meditare.

Secondo me occorre affrontare subito il discorso GeoDRM, seguendolo nella sua forma attuale e futura.
Per info: il TC211 ha appena approvato come New Work Item il GeoREL presentato da OGC, questo potrebbe diventare standard ISO19149 da qui a 3 anni (per la cronaca: 13 voti favorevoli, 2 contrari, e 4 astenuti … Italia, Svezia, Norvegia e Marocco).
Secondo me sarebbe il caso che, come associazione GFOSS oppure individualmente, qualcuno della comunità OS si iscrivesse a UNINFO, e cominciasse a fare un po’ di lobby dall’interno.
Tutti i documenti ISO/CEN, infatti, sono votati dagli enti di standardizzazione nazionali e dai liaison, nelle varie fasi (NWIP, CD, DIS, FDIS).
Personalmente sono dell’idea che una comunità OS debba avere voce in capitolo.
