JOB DESCRIPTION:
Title: UNIX GIS for meteorological software
Job Description:
Provide meteorological software developmcnt support for a project
team. Develop and test C software in a UNIX environment on SUN
workstations.
Prepare documentation and give customer presentations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: UNIX based software development and
documentation
C programming. MS in Meteorology or Computer Science I to 3 yrs exp
in UNIX based software developtnent. Working knowledge of C required.
Familiar with ORACLE, PV-WAVE, X/MOTIF desired. Experience with
Geographical
Information Systems such as ArcView a plus. Energy and highly
motivated,
good communication skills. CLEARABLE
Required:
MS in Meteorology or CS; 1-3 years experience UNIX based SW
development;
C programming.
