grass 4.1 (beta? or final?)

Hi. We are still using grass 4.0, and we have a copy of a pamphlet
called "GRASS 4.1 Beta." After reading it, we think 4.1 could provide
some nice extra features. We need to know, however, if 4.1 is still
in the beta stage. Has the final 4.1 version been released? If not,
when will it be? What obvious (to you folk) reasons are there for
getting 4.1 (over keeping 4.0)?

4.1 is out and there have been 2 updates to it already. Grass4.1 with first update applied
to it is also available.
