GRASS 4.1 will probably be in Beta release at the time of the user meeting
in March. To satisfy GRASS user's desires, the CD-ROM version of GRASS
will probably be sent to User Meeting attendees once the final 4.1 release
is created - (late Spring?)
As always, the latest and greatest will always be on moon.
An aside - I'd like to encourage sites that have programmer talent and an
available FTP site to make binary compilations of GRASS available once 4.1
is out. OGI could maintain a directory of binary locations to point
users in the right direction.
