GRASS and HP RTL

I've found out that our Novajet plotter also accepts 'HP RTL' which I
presume is Hewett Packard's format for raster images - can anyone tell me
more about 'RTL' and especially is there any documentation available -
I'm interested in developing a driver for GRASS to plot to the Novajet.

I have been using Image Alchemy for over a year now and I think it's a
very useful program for any file conversion. One of the formats supported
is HP RTL; this worked OK on a HP Paintjet (the old ones), so I suppose
your NovaJet will have no problem interpreting it. In fact Image Alchemy
also runs on DOS-machines and has a whole range of conversion routines,
including ppm, and it's competitively priced.
