Yes, we have had considerable experience with importing intergraph design
files into grass as vector maps. We have a step by step informal
paper on how to do it which you can get by email by contacting records@zorro.cecer.army.mil and asking her for a copy. I think she can send it to you. It
should get you started in this endevour.
