I have the original source code (written in F77), but as far as I can tell, it can not be found on any Univ. of Lancaster web site. If you need it I can send what I have.

FWIW, GRASS has built into the ./configure script checks for g2c and
f2c, and the config summary lists the FORTRAN compiler used. I'm not
sure if it is actually used for anything, but the infrastructure's there.
The only point about this bug report is that there is a dead link to
TOPMODEL's source code in r.topmodel and r.topidx Grass manuals. If it
is not held online anywhere anymore, maybe we just should remove the
problematic link from Grass manual pages?
