[GRASS-dev] [bug #4865] (grass) v.proj, tcltk GUI: button for input vector map is wrong

this bug's URL: http://intevation.de/rt/webrt?serial_num=4865
-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Subject: v.proj, tcltk GUI: button for input vector map is wrong

Platform: GNU/Linux/x86
grass obtained from: CVS
grass binary for platform: Compiled from Sources
GRASS Version: 2006-07-10

If one presses the button for 'Name of the input vector map', a list of vectors in the *current location* pops up. While the user is supposed to enter the name of a vector from *another location* - the one he is reprojecting from.

The button should be removed no to confuse the user.

As v.proj currently works, it will only reproject a vector within the
current location. The TclTk georectifier gets around that issue.

Michael,

this is not right. v.proj works for other locations.
You probably refer to v.transform?

Maciek is right with his report.

Michael

Maybe I'm missing something, but how does your note relate to the bug
report?
