[GRASS-dev] closing tickets as wontfix because of "No activity"

Hi Martin,

I don’t think it is a good idea to close tickets as “wontfix” because of “No activity”. The issues might still be relevant. I suggest to ping the appropriate maintainer(s) instead.

“wontfix” should IMHO be used if a ticket can not be fixed for technical reasons.

"wontfix" should IMHO be used if a ticket can not be fixed for technical reasons.

I tend to agree. To my experience, usually pinging the
reporter/"maintainer" does not work. So maybe closing ticket will have
another effect :wink: Feel free to reopen relevant issues.
