hi,
d.save is handy to create a batch-file with all the commands needed to recreate the content of a traditional grass monitor.
until the introduction of grass displays (+ revamping the gis manager) d.save could do the same for the layers selected in the gis manager.
now the layers selected in the gis manager are displayed in a map display. How can d.save (or an alternative) nowadays be used to write a file containing the commands for the layers in the gis manager ?
