Hi,
I would like to plot vector points file in a way such that the color for each point is proportional to its height (or another attribute). In Grass 5.x I used d.sites.color that was an external module developed by an italian guy who did it very well; what can I do now in Grass 6.x?

Use the thematic mapper, d.vect.thematic.
