[GRASS-dev] De-prioritize GRASS GIS 6.4.4 (very old stable) windows binaries on the download site

hi,

on the windows download site we have following standalone installers
available for download:

GRASS GIS 7.2.1 (current stable)
GRASS GIS 7.0.5 (old stable)
GRASS GIS 6.4.4 (very old stable)
GRASS GIS 7.3 (development, daily builds)

WinGRASS-6.4.4-1-Setup.exe was uploaded at 2014-06-25.

as the WinGRASS-6 line isn't actively maintained anymore; the packages, on
which WinGRASS-6.4.4-1-Setup.exe is based (e.g. MS runtimes, etc etc), are
more and more outdated or not always available anymore, I suggest to
De-prioritize/Remove GRASS GIS 6.4.4 (very old stable) from the download
website. Only a small note where to download as legacy should be kept.

any thoughts?

it's maybe also a good motivation to think towards GRASS 8.0 ... :wink:
