Hi PSC,
while this is of course also quite a grass-dev topic, I thought to
bring it up here:
we are a bit lagging behind with accepting new core developers. Since
folks are shy
we should invite them.
Please let's avoid a public discussion here about names but we should
reflect about how to identify (perhaps "grow") new core developers.

+1 on the principle.
But how do you actually define "core developer" ? I actually see this a quite fluidly with most developers having spells of more intense investment and others moments of less.

Oh, sorry that I wan't clear enough:
Here I mean developers with SVN write access to trunk/relbranches. We
didn't enable new developers for a while...
