[GRASS-dev] error about "Floating point exception"

Hi;

I have compiled grass 6.0.2 ( stable version ) from the sources on the intel x86_64 platform.
But whilw executing some commands like g.list, r.random, nviz…etc.
I get the error “Floating point exception”

I have searched the grass search site and try "-m64 " gcc compiler option. But the problem still occurs. My gcc version is 3.2.3.

Any suggestions?

There have been quite a few changes related to x86_64 compatibility
since 6.0.2 was released. You will probably have better luck using a
recent CVS version (e.g. the 6.1.0 pre-release branch).
